Interrupted (Again)

I want to tell you about two strange occurrences. I’d love to know if anything similar has happened to you. Right, here goes.

About 20 years ago now I was waiting on a packed London Victoria Station concourse with my then husband. Out of nowhere a man appeared in front of me, put his hand firmly on my shoulders, looked me in the eyes and said “Its alright. Everything is going to be alright.” He stared at me for a few seconds and then disappeared amongst the crowd. I felt really weird and light. Like I’d been touched by an angel (shuddup!). It was strange.

10 years later, it happened again.

I’d moved back to Bristol and was dropping mother off home after shopping. Sophie was with me (my witness!). Was a very dark and stormy night, rain lashing down. Mother got out of the car and I was about to pull away when there was a tap on the window. Oh what’s she forgotten, I thought.

I opened the window and a lady put her arm INTO THE CAR onto my shoulder and said “Its alright. Everything is going to be alright. You’ve done good things, it will all be okay.”

I was a bit shocked and mumbled “no I haven’t”

And she said “yes, yes you have. You’ve dropped your mother home”. Then stared into my eyes for a few seconds and walked off! It was so bizarre. I mean lucky guess I’d dropped mother off? (Rang her later and she said she’d never seen the woman before). Again, I felt really floaty and light with a strange buzzing sensation from head to toe.
